Call for Extended Abstract: Deadline is Oct. 31, 2026

Introduction

IPRoMM 2026 has a dedicated set of sessions for showcasing the early outputs from student/researchers work and also for the industry-academia partnerships. Also, to ensure we have a good representation of the delegates from industries, we have kept to bare minimum 2 page extended abstracts.

We invite development work as posters-cum-presentations, focussed on industrial problems. The topics of interest include, but are not restricted to, the following:

  • Analysis and Synthesis of Mechanisms 
  • Bio-medical Applications of Mechanisms
  • Compliant, Foldable, and Deployable Mechanisms
  • Dynamics, Control and Vibration Analysis of Multibody Systems
  • Geometry, Kinematics and Topological Analysis
  • Manufacturing and Assembling of Mechanisms
  • Micro- and Nano-Machines and Mechanisms
  • Optimal Design of Machines and Mechanisms
  • Precision Engineering for Mechanisms
  • Product Development using Mechanisms
  • Reliability in Machines and Mechanisms
  • Robotics
  • Rural and Agricultural Applications
  • Textile and Clothing Technologies
  • Tribology

Template of Extended Abstract

The initial submission is a 2-page extended abstract, which reports the development work or collaboration between industry and academia. The template is available in .docx is available here.

Submission (deadline is Oct. 31, 2026)

The extended abstract (as PDF) may be submitted at https://forms.gle/dhukswZsj7dJh2Kv8 by Oct. 31, 2026. The acceptance notification will be sent by Nov. 15, 2026, after a review process.

Accepted Posters in Conference Souvenir

The accepted posters-cum-presentations will be included in the Conference Souvenir, that will be printed and handed over to all participants. The conference souvenir will also have brief abstracts of all the full-papers accepted in a separate channel (which will in addition be included in the Conference Proceedings through Springer)

Registration

The authors/presenters of the accepted posters have to register in the relevant category. They will be getting access to attend all conference sessions (like those presenting accepted full papers).
